Vietnamese information technology (IT) firm FPT has announced a partnership with Kyndryl, a US provider of enterprise technology services, to accelerate enterprise digital transformation across North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, and Japan.

The two firms will collaborate to provide unified, end-to-end solutions to help customers achieve seamless, scalable digital transformation, FPT said in a statement on last Wednesday.

Building on the success of their previous collaborations accelerating client value, this non-exclusive partnership will focus on a collaborative go-to-market strategy, targeting high-demand verticals such as banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) and retail.

Under the agreement, FPT and Kyndryl plan to deliver and support application-infrastructure solutions, including application services, artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics, cloud migration, IT consulting, and infrastructure operations — optimized for performance and cost-effectiveness.

In parallel, FPT and Kyndryl intend to explore opportunities to co-create intellectual property (IP) and sales accelerators under the partnership.

Leveraging their respective expertise and partnerships with other industry leaders such as Microsoft and NVIDIA, the two companies will focus on achieving strong commercial impact.

Beyond the initial focus on BFSI and retail, the partnership intends to expand into manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, and energy sectors.

“Over the past few years, FPT and Kyndryl have evolved our AI, Applications and Data services and embedded intelligence across solutions,

“With our shared AI expertise and global scale, we are poised to deliver smarter, more integrated solutions and create lasting value for our clients,” said Dang Tran Phuong, FPT Software Senior Executive Vice President and FPT Software Americas Chief Executive Officer, FPT Corporation.

Michael Bradshaw, Kyndryl’s Applications, Data and AI Global Practice Leader, said the collaboration with FPT will help accelerate customers’ digital transformations across North America, Europe, the United Kingdom and Japan.

“By combining Kyndryl’s comprehensive services, Agentic AI Framework and AI, industry and applications expertise, with FPT’s experience, we can better support enterprises in achieving new levels of performance and driving efficiency,” he added.

In 2024, FPT and Kyndryl successfully delivered high-impact projects across application management services (AMS), data, AI, and application modernization for customers in the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, and Germany.

The successful collaboration has paved the way for an expanded collaboration in the Irish market, where both companies are committed to nurturing next-gen tech talent and advancing AI applications.

Since entering the Americas in 2008, FPT has made significant strides in expanding its footprint with 14 offices throughout the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

This expansion has been fueled by strategic acquisitions, including Intellinet, the IT services division of Intertec International, and Cardinal Peak.

In 2024, the company secured a $225 million contract with a leading technology provider, further cementing the Americas as one of FPT’s largest foreign markets.
